Tyler is a Cedar Rapids native who has spent more than 15 years helping nonprofits build the relationships and resources they need to grow. His career began with nearly five years at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement, where he developed a deep foundation in major gift fundraising and donor engagement. For the past ten years, he has worked in a consulting capacity, leading feasibility studies and campaigns for organizations in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, human services, arts and culture, community development, and even a carousel! 

Tyler brings a rare combination of strategic rigor and genuine people-centeredness to every engagement. He is known for meeting donors where they are, helping organizations tell their stories compellingly, and navigating the complexity of campaigns with steadiness and focus.

Deeply invested in the fundraising profession, Tyler served eight years on the Central Iowa Association of Fundraising Professionals board, including two years as president. He was honored by the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy as a member of their 2021 40 Under 40 Class, a recognition of emerging leaders making a meaningful impact on the field. He holds an MBA from Indiana University with an emphasis in Data Analytics and Social Entrepreneurship.
