Sarah has built a career that spans the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, turning big ideas into measurable impact across languages, cultures, and time zones. A project management and fundraising professional, Sarah has extensive experience leading feasibility studies, capital campaigns, data-driven development analyses, and more. To date, she has raised more than $20 million for nonprofits, guiding campaigns supporting women’s recovery housing, domestic violence prevention, refugee youth empowerment, childcare access, healthcare, and faith-based community initiatives. Recently, she served on the Board of Directors for an emerging nonprofit supporting immigrant and refugee youth in her home state of Iowa.

 
Fluent in English and conversational in both German and Arabic, she brings a global perspective, cultural fluency, and a collaborative spirit to every project. She can switch between English, German, and Arabic mid-sentence (though only when she’s had enough coffee) and is known for her color-coded project spreadsheets and equally colorful travel stories. She holds a Master of Arts in Humanitarian Action earned through universities in Germany, Jordan, and Ireland, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Nonprofit Management and a professional certificate of Social Work with Migrants and Refugees.
