Eric is inspired by people who, when given the opportunity, thrive and contribute back to the community that has served them. Whether that opportunity is safe shelter, educational assistance, or community health services, he has seen the lasting impact these interventions can have on one's life. Eric is honored to partner with talented leaders and organizations to elevate their missions and ultimately serve the community through strategic, passion-driven endeavors.

Since 2017, Eric has served as President of EDEN+ Fundraising Consulting, where he works as a hands-on partner to organizations in Iowa and across the country. In all, Eric brings more than 16 years of fundraising experience across religious, national and international social service, human rights, cultural, education, and health organizations. He has conducted capital campaigns and feasibility studies nationwide, managed grant portfolios at every level, and coordinated corporate sponsorship, volunteer recruitment, and major gift fundraising efforts.

A Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Eric was recognized by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy as part of their 2019 40 Under 40 Class. He serves on the boards of the Iowa Medical Society Foundation and Catholic Charities of Des Moines and is past chair of the Mid-Iowa Planned Giving Council. Eric holds an MBA in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a Philanthropic Doctorate in Philanthropic Leadership at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
